Classes
A New Year and a new venue! Monday classes will be moving to the Fotheringay Centre which is located at the corner of Beaton Road and Fotheringay Road, so only 2 minutes away from the current venue. The classes will be held downstairs in the GP Room. Entry to the Centre is by the Glass Door at the front of the building on Fotheringay Road.
The move to Pollokshields Burgh Hall on Tuesday evenings has proved successful, so classes will continue there in 2010.

What can I expect?
Pilates Matwork classes are a great way of exercising in a group environment in a non-competitive way. Classes last an hour and will progressively advance as the term does. Matwork is the term given to non-equipment based Pilates.
Levels
Beginners
– An ideal starting point for anyone who has never tried Pilates, or
wants to return to Pilates after a lengthy break due to injury/illness or
pregnancy. The pace is easy is and relaxed allowing you to acquaint yourself
with the fundamentals of the exercise technique (as well as your own body).
Go on – you just might surprise yourself ...!
Intermediate
– Provides you with the opportunity to grow and develop the skills learned
in a Beginners programme. The courses consistently change from term to term,
providing variety and allowing for a particular emphasis to be explored.
Advanced
- A challenging and exciting programme for the more experienced Pilates client.
We assume you know what you’re doing... so enjoy!!
What to wear: Clothing should be comfortable and easy to move in e.g. jogging pants and a long or short sleeved top. Shoes are not required - you can wear socks or go barefoot – you choose.
* Please bring along your own mat. A yoga or camping mat is ideal.
